The Real Deal....Emotional Swings And Roundabouts

Preparing to have a baby involves a great deal more than having prenatal checkups and wearing a floral tent.

You need to adjust emotionally, too. At this time there is often emotional muddle anyway, thanks to a cauldron of pregnancy hormones. You may feel it's doing your head in.

Are you cool calm office manager or a competent professional in your other life? Even so, watching the news on television could make you blub.

Pregnancy is a natural state, but for many women it is also a time of extreme high and lows.

  • Go with the flow and don't be hard on yourself.
  • If you've got relationship issues, address them as calmly as you can.
  • Tell your physician about any serious worries or if you feel depressed
